The scanner detects the outer contour of the leather with marked errors in the shortest possible time. Quality zones and errors are digitally markedThe structure of the scanner ensures that reproducible results can be achieved irrespective of the external influence of light. The detection of the reference marks for repositioning is performed automatically. The data is stored in the CCUT database. The marking of the leather itself is done by affixing a printed barcode containing all relevant data (quality, target / actual size). The scan process can be optimally adapted to your production process according to the leather size. Various scanner sizes are available which correspond to the cutting table size within the overall system.


Design Types

The scanning step can be integrated into the production process in various ways. The type of scanner used is determined by the production environment and the requirements of the user. The following options are possible, among other things.

  • Scanning on a simple table with movable camera attachment

Here the leather is static on the table. The scanner moves over the material. It can be scanned in both directions with freely defined speed and exposure time.

  • Scanning on a moving table with fixed camera attachment

The material is located on a conveyor belt and passes through the scanner at a freely defined speed. The scanner can be operated via a foot switch, which increases the user-friendliness and ergonomics of the workplace. This procedure is recommended for larger skins.
