The application fields of the cutting system by RG Technologies are extremely versatile. The various materials that are required for the production can all be processed on one cutting table.

Due to the modular installation of the tools the conversion of the cutting table for a new material is very fast and straightforward, and can be completed in a few simple steps.

The combination of module, tool, knife and cutting setting is always the one that is optimally adapted to the material to be processed.

Through the usage of various tools, processing of a number of different operations from marking and perforating up to the actual cutting is possible without standstill. A selection of tools used in the cutting system by RG Technologies can be found in the area components.

The knives are equipped with different geometries which are optimized for each type of material on the basis of long lasting expert knowledge. The variety ranges from very sharp filigree knives with minimum pre-cut for cutting small radiuses, up to robust knives with post-cut and extra-long endurance. Basically, the knife types are divided into the following groups: Drag knives, oscillating knives, rotary knives and v-cut knives. For perforations there are - beside a pin which is mainly used for markings - several punching tools available with a radius up to 5,5 mm. Larger radiuses can be cut unproblematic and without loss of accuracy by knives.

 In the following you will find a list of materials and their suitable tools. This is just an excerpt of possible material-tool-combinations.
